All India Postal Cultural Meet begins

Jitendra Gupta (centre), Director General of Postal Services, Postal Directorate, New Delhi, who inaugurated the five-day 38th All India Postal Cultural Meet organised by the Department of Posts under the Ministry of Communication, at Cauvery Auditorium in Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysuru, yesterday, is seen releasing the commemorative postal cover on the occasion. Also seen are (from left) Ashish Singh Thakur, Director, Postal Training Centre (PTC), Mysuru; Dr. Mysore Manjunath & Mysore M. Nagaraj (Mysore Brothers), Internationally acclaimed Violinist Duo; K. Prakash, Chief Postmaster General of Karnataka Circle; Sandesh Mahadevappa, Director, Karnataka Postal Circle and V. Tara, Director, Bengaluru Central Postal Region. The 5-day cultural extravaganza features music competitions and performances.
