Allanda Neelavva (Lakshmi – Naliyanda – Bavali), wife of late Poovaiah (Mani) and a native of Kadangamuroor village, Virajpet in Kodagu, passed away at her daughter’s house # 577, 3rd Phase, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, near Government Women’s College here, in the wee hours of today. She was 88.

She leaves behind five daughters, sons-in-law and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Mukthidhama in Vijayanagar 4th Stage this afternoon.
