Mysore/Mysuru: Krishnaraja (KR) Police have registered a case against four persons for allegedly kidnapping and assaulting a youth in city.

The youth, who was allegedly kidnapped and assaulted is 21-year-old Manoj Kumar, a resident of Lalithadripura in city.

In his complaint, Manoj has stated that on May 10, when he was returning from Chamundi Hill in the morning, Lokesh and Shekar alias Abhi kidnapped him in their car, took him to a poultry farm near Yaraganahalli Burial Grounds and assaulted him with iron roads and clubs.

He further stated that later, they took him in the car to a brick klin in Lalithadripura village where Lokesh’s elder brother Mahendra and his father Mahadevaswamy assaulted him with clubs. They  video recorded the incident of the assault before fleeing from the spot.

“I was rendered unconscious and found myself in the house, after regaining consciousness. As I was unable to move, I got myself treated at K.R. Hospital next day as an outpatient,” Manoj told the Police.
