Mysuru: Canara Bank, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), donated an ambulance to Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research Centre on KRS Road here on Friday.
D. Vijaya Kumar, General Manager, Canara Bank, Circle Office, Bengaluru, handed over the keys of the ambulance worth about Rs.30 lakh to Institute Director Dr. C.N. Manjunath.
On the occasion, Canara Bank ATM was inaugurated at the hospital premises. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Manjunath lauded the initiatives taken up by Canara Bank.
Assistant General Manager of Canara Bank, Regional Office, Mysuru, K.B. Geetha, Chief of Jayadeva Hospital, Mysuru Dr. K.S. Sadananda, Dr. Harsha Basappa, Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Dr. Panduranga and others were present.
Mysuru Note Mudran Unit
Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Private Limited (BRBNMPL), Mysuru, donated an ambulance worth Rs.22 lakh to K.R. Hospital popularly called as ‘Doddaspathre’ here this morning.
BRBNMPL Manager K.N. Narayanan handed over the keys to Dean and Director of Mysore Medical College and Research Institute (MMC&RI) Dr. C.P. Nanjaraj in the presence of K.R. Hospital’s Superintendent Dr. R. Srinivas.
The Note Mudran Unit of Mysuru so far has donated 38 lakh worth equipment including this ambulance to K.R. Hospital as part of its CSR initiatives, said Narayanan. MMC&RI Principal Dr. Dakshayini and RMO Dr. Rajesh were present.
