Mysore/Mysuru: Swarasankula Sangeeta Sabha, Mysuru, will present a Hindustani vocal recital by Amritha Shenoy Kamath in memory of Pandit Ramarao V. Naik at Ganabharathi Veene Seshanna Bhavana in Kuvempunagar here on Nov. 20 at 6 pm. She will be accompanied on harmonium by Pt. Veerabhadraiah Hiremath and on tabla by Pt. Udayaraj Karpur.

Industrialist and art patron from city Dr. M. Jagannath Shenoy will be felicitated on the occasion. Theatre personality Jayaram Patil will be the chief guest.

Amritha Shenoy had her classical music training under Pt. Madhav Bhat, Y.G. Patil, Sandhya Prabhu and later under Jayashree Patanekar. She is presently training under Apoorva Gokhale. Amritha is one of the Founding-Members of Mumbai-based music organisation ‘Hamsadhwani Music & Arts Foundation.’ She has given many performances in various parts of Karnataka and Maharashtra. She has won many music competitions and scholarships.
