‘An evening with Ruth Padel’ British poet & great-great-granddaughter of Charles Darwin in city on Feb.1

Mysuru/Mysore: Mysuru Book Clubs-2015 has organised ‘An evening with Ruth Padel,’ Non-fiction author and great-great-granddaughter of Charles Darwin, at Hotel Roopa Elite, 6th Main Road, V.V. Mohalla, on Feb.1 from 5.30 pm to 7 pm.

About the author: An award-winning British Poet, Scholar and Conservationist, Professor of Poetry at King’s College London, Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, Ruth Padel is the author of Tigers in Red Weather, Learning to Make an Oud in Nazareth and the best-selling Darwin: A Life in Poems, a verse biography of her great-great-grandfather. Her new book, Beethoven Variations, is a poetic journey into the life of Beethoven.
