Sir,
If you are travelling to Brindavan Gardens via KRS Road, you cannot overlook the unsightly garbage pile-up just past the railway crossing near Brigade Symphony Apartment.
This disheartening scene stands in stark contrast to Mysuru’s aspiration of being one of the cleanest cities in India.
Passers-by, whether on two-wheelers or in cars, routinely toss their trash here without a second thought, turning the area into an eyesore.
The adage “Cleanliness is next to Godliness” must transcend words and find expression in our daily lives. While authorities have a responsibility to maintain cleanliness and enforce penalties for littering, citizens too must rethink their careless attitude towards public spaces.
Will we embrace a cleaner and more responsible way of living? Only time will tell.
