Anil Chikkamadu quits JD(S)

Mysuru: Anil Chikkamadu, son of late JD(S) legislator from H.D. Kote, S. Chikkamadu, resigned from the primary membership of the JD(S) today.

Anil Chikkamadu also quit as ZP member from Hanagodu (ST) ZP constituency, from which he was elected on a JD(S) ticket.

Anil, who was miffed with the JD(S) leadership for failing to assure him on the party ticket to contest from H.D. Kote (ST) assembly segment in the forth coming assembly polls, will join the Congress at the KPCC office in Bengaluru on Monday (Feb.5), along with former MP and former Minister C.H. Vijayashankar, who quit the BJP recently.
