Following persons have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under ‘Adoption of Animals’ scheme by paying adoption fee: Srikantha Balika Proudashala, Mysuru – Common Peafowl (Rs. 3,500); Aditya Prakash, Bengaluru – Meerkat (Rs. 10,000), B.S. Natasha – Common Barn Owl (Rs. 3,500); S.A. Adhav, Bengaluru – Smooth Coated Otter, Lion tailed Macaque, Ring Tailed Lemur & Asian Grey Hornbill (Rs. 25,000); Seshadripuram PU College, Mysuru – Black Buck & Moustached Parakeet (Rs. 9,500);  Venkatesh Maddibande Sheshadrivasan, B’luru – Hippopotamus (Rs. 75,000).
