Animal Adoption

Following persons have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under the ‘Adoption of Animals’ scheme by paying the adoption fee: M. Sivakuru – Chennai: Gharial (Rs.7,500); P. Chirag Barola – Mysuru: Love Bird (Rs.1,000); Vamana Datta – Hassan: Peacock and Cockatiel (Rs.4,500); Sneha Manjunath – Bengaluru: White Peacock (Rs.3,500); R. Sudha – Bengaluru: King Cobra (Rs.3,500); N.V.  Raghu – Mysuru: Indian Cobra, Rhesus Macaque, Common Rat Snake and Common Indian Kraft (Rs.10,000); Poonam Das – Mumbai: Love Bird and Indian Flapshell Turtle (Rs.3,000); Anupama Gopal and Gopal Ramanathan – Chennai: Black Buck and Lion-Tailed Macaque (Rs.17,500); M.C. Yateesh – Bengaluru: Indian Cobra and King Cobra (Rs.5,500), according to a press release from the Zoo Executive Director.
