Mysuru: The following persons have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under ‘Adoption of Animals’ scheme by paying the adoption fee:

Anupama Gopal & Gopal Ramanathan, Chennai – Black Buck & Lion-Tailed lemur (Rs.17,500); G. Yashaswini, Mysuru – Indian Cobra (Rs.2,000); P. Guru Shankara, Mysuru – Rose Ringed Parakeet (Rs.2,000); Krushmi Paresh Shah, Mumbai  – Brown Wood Owl (Rs.3,500); G.J. Lakshmipathy, Bengaluru – Common Rat Snake (Rs.1,000); Nijesh Shah, Mumbai – Love Bird, Indian Cobra, King Cobra (Rs.6,500); Shaina Jha, Mysuru – Leopard Cat (Rs.5,000); H.R. Druthi – Mysuru – Four Horned Antelope (Rs.5,000), according to a press release from the Zoo  Executive Director.
