Mysore/Mysuru: The following persons have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under ‘Adoption of Animals’ scheme by paying the adoption fee: M.P. Sheethal, Mysuru – Indian Leopard – Rs.35,000; H.N. Ashalatha, Bengaluru – Indian Cobra and Common Barn Owl – Rs. 5,500; Rachana Supreeth Urs, Mysuru – Peacock – Rs. 3,500; B. Parthasarathi, Mysuru – Indian Cobra – Rs. 2,000; Suma Basavaraju, Mysuru – Malabar Giant Squirrel – Rs. 10,000; Usha Chethan Krishna, Bengaluru – Ring Tailed Lemur – Rs.5,101; Deepa Nataraj, Mysuru – Star Tortoise – Rs. 2,000; Ravikiran Puttaraju and S. Vasantha Kumari, Mysuru – Leopard Cat – Rs. 5,000; Kalpana Dilip Shah, Bengaluru – Spotted Deer – Rs. 7,500; T.A. Smaran, Mysuru – Great Hornbill – Rs. 5,000; K.S. Narasimhamurthy, Mysuru – Smooth Coated Otter – Rs. 5,000; M. Kumar Kashyap, Mysuru – Common Ostrich – Rs. 5,000, according to a press release from the Zoo.
