Animal Adoption continues at City Zoo

Mysore/Mysuru: The following persons have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under ‘Adoption of Animals’ scheme by paying the adoption fee: 

The Mysore Co-operative Bank Ltd. (Staff Contribution), Mysuru – Indian Grey Wolf, Green Anaconda, Emu, Himalayan Goral and Smooth Coated Otter – Rs.50,000.

Santram B. Nimbalkar, Bidadi – Indian Cobra – Rs. 2,000; AMIGOS (Kruthika), Mysuru – Star Tortoise – Rs. 2,000; N. Laksmish Gowda, Bengaluru – Common Ostrich – Rs. 10,000; Narasipura Doddamane Sujana Charitable Trust, Bengaluru – Himalayan Baboon – Rs. 10,000; Swathi Kashyap, Mysuru – Love Bird – Rs. 1,000; Dr. Sunil Mallesh, Bengaluru – Star Tortoise – Rs. 2,000; M. Sowjanya, Mysuru – Indian Grey Wolf – Rs. 20,000.

Suttur Seer donates Rs.5 lakh 

Meanwhile, Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji has donated Rs. 5 lakh to Mysuru Zoo towards maintenance of birds and animals, according to a press release from the Zoo.
