Animal adoption continues at Zoo

The following individuals/ institutions have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under ‘Adoption of Animals’ scheme by paying adoption fee: Sevayajna Foundation’s Maruthi Naik, Murdeshwara – Comb Duck (Rs. 2,000); Soujanya Hegde, Bengaluru – Great Indian Hornbill & Rainbow Lorikeet (Rs. 7,000); Roopashree Kulal, wife of M.S. Panichethan, Mysuru – Rhesus Macaque (Rs. 5,000); M.A. Kumar Kashyap, Mysuru – Red Avadavat (Rs. 1,000), M.J. Ananth Raj, Bengaluru – Barasingha (Rs. 7,500); Govindraju, Mysuru – Red Lory (Rs. 2,000), C. Manjula, Mysuru – Green Anaconda (Rs. 10,000) and M.R. Nithesh, son of M.T. Ramachandrappa (RFO), Mysuru – King Cobra (Rs. 3,500) according to a press release.
