Annual Day celebrations at city schools: Ranga Rao Memorial School for Disabled

Ranga Rao Memorial School for Disabled by NR Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the NR Group, celebrated 30th Annual Day in the School premises recently.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Siddaraju, Director Department for the Empowerment of Differently abled. During the event, a newly-constructed High School building block with three new classrooms, one full-fledged library and a dormitory with a capacity of 50 students, was also inaugurated.

Geetha, District Disabled Welfare Officer, was the guest of honour of the event, which was presided by R. Guru, Chairman, NR Group.

The event featured a variety of cultural programmes by the students. The children captivated the audience by performing classical dance –  Pushpanjali, English action songs, Folk songs and dance, classical music, group Songs and dance and staging the play ‘Gandarvasena.’ The event concluded with prize distribution followed by a vote of thanks.
