JSS PUBLIC SCHOOL, J.P. NAGAR: The 23rd Annual Day celebrations of JSS Public School in J.P. Nagar was held at its premises recently. MUDA Commissioner P.S. Kantharaju was the chief guest.

KSGH Music and Performing Arts University Registrar Dr. Niranjan Vanalli delivered valedictory address.

In-charge Principal S.L. Nagendra presented the School Annual Report 2017-18. CCA Co-ordinator K. Shasikala read out the CCA report of the year 2017-18.

School Captain M. Vikram (9th standard) welcomed. School Vice-Captain S. Aadya (9th std.)proposed a vote of thanks.

The cultural programme ‘India Ka Tarana’ was a scintillating performance presented by children from LKG to 10th std.

Manasadhara Fest-2017

‘Manasadhara Fest-2017,’ a cultural fest for Inter-CBSE Schools, was also held at the School premises recently.

Dr. A.R. Seetharam, former Principal, RIMSE and Dr. Kripa Phadke, Bharatanatyam exponent, inaugurated the event.

Around 15 CBSE Schools participated in the event. In-charge Principal S.L. Nagendra welcomed. Sreelakshmi Kumar proposed a vote of thanks.

On the occasion, the Classical Duet Dance brought out the talents of the School students. And the debate on the topic “Has technology made the young less creative and more alone?” gave the young debaters a great opportunity to showcase their literary talents.

S.P. Manjunath, Secretary-I JSS Mahavidyapeetha, presided over both the functions.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya: The Annual Day of Chinmaya Vidyalaya was celebrated at its premises in Jayalakshmipuram recently with NIE Principal Dr. G. Ravi as the chief guest.

The programme began with an invocation by Assistant Mistress of Primary Section Sujatha. Chinmaya Vidyalaya Principal Sujatha Jayaram welcomed and introduced the chief guest.

The annual report was read by Primary Section HM Dakshayini. High School HM Gopala Krishna Joshi proposed a vote of thanks. Primary Section Assistant Mistress Kruthi Jayakumar compered the programme.

Vidyalaya Chairman H.N. Ramathirtha and Secretary Sharada Prasad were present.

Marimallappa’s English Medium Higher Primary School: The 2017-18 Annual Day celebrations of the School was held at its premises on Sita Vilas Road in city recently. Prof. K.N. Panchaksharaswamy presided. Dr. C.J. Ushadevi and School Head Mistress M.G. Prajna were the chief guests on the occasion.

Little Gems School and Gems PU College: The 19th Annual Day of the Institution was celebrated at Jaganmohan Palace in city recently. Arif A. Mehkri was the chief guest. Students from classes Pre-KG to I PU presented a colourful programme. School Topper in SSLC examination-2017 was felicitated on the occasion.

HARI VIDYALAYA, Bogadi: Radhakrishna, Chairman, Shastry Public School and Secretary, CISPMAM, was the chief guest during ‘Hari Sourabha’ programme which was organised at Hari Vidyalaya in Bogadi recently. In his inaugural speech, he said: “If we are involved in competitions, we will be strong both mentally and physically. Only then we are able to reach the height of success.”

Various competitions like seminar, visual review, panel discussion, dance, singing, mono acting, kho-kho, chess, yoga and Karate were organised. More than 1,000 students from different Schools of Mysuru had participated.

Prof. K.V. Sathyan, Director of Hari Vidyalaya, presided over the function and felicitated the contestants. Murali, Chairman, Learners PU College, H.R. Bhagavan, Secretary of Hari Vidyalaya, Principal, HMs, Parents, Teaching and non-teaching staff were present.

IDEAL JAWA ROTARY SCHOOL: Ideal Jawa Rotary School celebrated it LPS Annual Day at Kalamandira in city with great vibrancy. The theme was ‘Young Springs.’

The cultural programmes on the theme featured Welcome Dance – Fairies, Hip Hop Dance, Kinder Joy Dance, Beautiful Day, Ocean Kids Dance, Cartoons, Mistakes, Funky Dance, Rhymes, English Song, Rainbow, Krishna, Pirates, Butterfly, Halloween, Peacock Dance and Mermaid.

Management Committee Members, Chairman Rtn. T.K. Chittaranjan, Hon. Secretary Rtn. R. Vasudev Bhat, Rtn. M.C.S. Manohara, Principal S.A. Veena, alumni and parents were present.

Champaka Academy: Champaka Academy, Ramakrishna-nagar Centre, celebrated its Annual Day at its premises here recently. Children performed yoga, dance, skits and many more activities on the occasion. Founders Nagalakshmi and Nagarajan were present.
