Annual Day celebrations: JSS Public School (JSSPS), Siddarthanagar

The 29th Annual Day of JSSPS, Siddarthanagar, was celebrated with grandeur and panache under the theme ‘Lilting Rhythm’ at the School premises recently. The programme began invoking the blessings of the Lord Almighty.

R.A. Chetan Ram, Dean and Managing Trustee, Parivarthana School and PU College, Srirangapatna, delivered the valedictory address. R. Manjunatha, Director, Mysore Airport, was the guest of honour.  S.P Manjunath, Secretary-I, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysuru, delivered the presidential address.

B. Latha, Principal, read the school report and shared with the audience the performance of the school which brought them laurels of being the 23rd best school in Karnataka and 151st rank at the All India level. Co-scholastic activity report and Sports report were read by S. Shaarvari and Poorvik Gowda respectively. Eshanya Madhu Gowda welcomed. Mohnish Sukhadhare proposed a vote of thanks. Aditi Katta and Aditi P. Shankar compered the show in English where as Ananya C. Shekhar and Aashrith Bharadwaj compered in Kannada.

Special prize for outstanding performance was given to Y.S. Poorvik Gowda, Mohnish Sukhadhare, and Tanmay Goudar for their valuable contribution in winning prizes in quiz, debate, essay writing, sports, science model making and academics.

Ban Plastic, Save Environment, Surgical strike, 5 Elements of Nature, Shiva Tandava and Negilayogi were the message-oriented dances.
