Mysuru: The 28th Annual Day celebration of JSS Public School, J.P.Nagar, was held recently. Prof. H. Rajashekar, Incharge Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore, was the chief guest.

Ramachandra Raje Urs, DDPI, Mysuru, delivered  the valedictory address. S.P. Manjunath, Secretary, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, presided. Principal K. Smitha Kurup presented the annual report. Sreelakshmi Kumar, CCA Co-ordinator, read out the CCA report. School Captain S.M. Mahadev Prasad welcomed. Poornasrinidhi, School Vice-Captain, proposed  a vote of thanks. The toppers who excelled in academic performances from LKG to X were awarded and CCA prizes were distributed. The prizes for Inter-School Debate competition and Classical Duet Dance competition conducted during “Manasadhara Fest’’ were also distributed.  The House Trophy was bagged by Shastri House and runner up Trophy was given to Tagore House. The cultural programme theme was “RHAPSODY” and children from LKG to X presented different dances and mimes pertaining to the theme.
