Annual Day: Police Public School Magazine Sugnana-12 released

Mysore/Mysuru: Police Public School, Mahadevapura Main Road, Jalapuri, Mysuru, celebrated its 15th Annual Day in a grand manner on Dec. 22 and 23 in three sessions at Karnataka Police Academy Auditorium in city.

The first session was for Pre-kg to Class 2, with Dr. H.A. Shashirekha, RMO, Government Ayurveda College and Hospital, Mysuru, as chief guest.

The annual report was presented by Rajalakshmi, Senior Primary teacher.

The chief guest spoke on the importance of using alternate medicine especially for children and the benefits of following a rich vegetable diet with a disciplined daily routine.

This was followed by a colourful variety entertainment programme by the tiny-tots.

Session 2 was held on Dec. 23 with Akshatha Ganesh Nishanth, Television Artiste, as chief guest. This session covered Classes 3, 4 and 5. In her address, Akshatha stressed the importance of holistic education as opposed to mere bookish education.

The annual report was presented by Deena Uthappa, Vice-Principal of the school. Following the stage programme, students entertained the gathering with cultural events.

Session 3 commenced at 5 pm on the 23rd with Yogacharya Dr. Ganesh Kumar, Taluk Physical Education Officer, Mysuru, as the chief guest. He stressed the importance of Yoga and its benefits.

The annual report for the year 2023-24 was presented by Principal Rennie Joseph Mendonce highlighting the School’s achievements in various fields.

School Magazine Sugnana-12 was released on the occasion followed by a grand cultural show.
