Annual Drawing Camp for kids

April 4, 2018

Mysuru: A 24-day Annual Drawing Camp for school students organised by JSS Mahavidyapeetha commenced this morning at the premises of JSS Balajagath School on Ramanuja Road here.

About 100 students have registered for the camp, open for students from 1st to 10th standard held under three categories daily from 9 am to 1 pm.

The camp is being held uniquely under the shade of two huge trees in the school premises to give a natural ambience for students to get motivated.

Eight drawing teachers have been deployed to guide the students. The theme of sketches mostly covers nature, flowers and animals.

Inaugurating the camp, JSS Prasaranga Director Prof. Morabada Mallikarjuna opined that the camp would help the students to understand nature and come out with good sketches.

JSS Mahavidyapeetha Deputy Director (General Education) H.V. Sheshagiri Rao, HM Shylaja and Camp Convener S.M. Jambukeshwara were present.
