Mysuru: The Annual Feast of the Mount Carmel Church, N. R. Mohalla, will be celebrated on Sunday (Jan. 28). Fr. Jomy Mekkunnel, the Parish Priest, hoisted the flag for the Feast on Friday while Fr. Siby Malola celebrated the Holy Mass and Novena. Parish Day will be celebrated today. Rt. Rev. Dr. Thomas Antony Vazhappilly, the Bishop Emeritus of Mysore, will be the Main Celebrant for the Solemn High Mass at 4.30 pm while Fr. Joseph Edakkery, Fr. George Kalambukatt and Fr. Johnson Attuchalil, the concelebrants.

On Sunday, the main feast day, there will be Holy Mass at 8 am. Fr. Martin Kandamparambil will be the Main Celebrant for the Festal High Mass at 5 pm. Fr. Varghese Kelamparambil, Provincial, and Fr. Thomas Kandathil, Vicar Provincial, CMI, Mysore Province, will concelebrate the Holy Mass. Fr. Biju Pallurathil will deliver the homily, followed by the grand procession in honour of Mary Mount Carmel and St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara. Special arrangements have been made for Crown Offering during the Feast Days, according to Paul Antony and M. K. Johny, the office-bearers.
