Annual General Body Meeting-2022 of Karnataka ICSE Schools’ Association held

Mysore/Mysuru: The Annual General Body Meeting-2022 of Karnataka ICSE Schools’ Association (KISA) was held on Oct. 22 at De Paul International Residential School, Mysuru.

The meeting was presided over by the chief guest, Ricardo Henry Soler, Deputy Secretary, ICSE CISCE Board, Delhi.

An inaugural address was delivered to the Principals of the member schools regarding matters pertaining to ICSE and ISC examinations along with National Education Policy (NEP-2020).

Pravin Madhukar Pawar, IPS, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Southern Range, Mysuru, who was the guest of honour, spoke on the topic ‘Preparedness of Schools for Hoax Calls and Disaster Management’ and promised to extend his support to handle all the safety issues of students.

Guest Speaker Dr. G.  Ananth Prabhu, Cyber Security and Cyber Law Trainer, Guest Faculty at Karnataka Police Academy and Police Training College spoke on the topic ‘Awareness on ABC of Cyber Safety in School Campus.’

KISA Executive Council Members Dr. Benny Kuriakose – President, B.V. Kavitha – Vice- President, Dr. B. Gayethri Devi – Secretary,  Bro. Antony D. Vayalil – Treasurer along with the other EC Members discussed the concerns and endeavours of the Association. The Management of De Paul International Residential School, Rev. Fr. Biju Scaria CM, Principal, Rev. Fr. Santoy Kurian CM, Financial Administrator & Campus Superior, Rev. Fr. Anish Xavier CM, Vice-Principal, Rev. Fr. Peter Martin CM, Dean of Academics and the Principals of around 300 schools were present.
