The Annual Moharram Procession will start on Saturday (Sept. 7) at around 4.30 pm from Alhaj Mir Muhib Hussain’s Saatveen Ashurkhana, Sajjad Ali Street, Mandi Mohalla. It will pass through B.N. Road, Akbar Road, K.T. Street and Kabir Road to terminate at starting point at 6.30 pm. Before the procession, a Marsiya Khani starts at 2.30 pm at the same place to commemorate the martyrs of Karbala Third Shia Imam Hazrath Hussain (pbuh), grandson of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The procession will be held in co-ordination with Anjuman-E-Hussainia, Masjid-E-Jaffery and Moharram Committee, Mysuru, according to a press release.
