The Annual Sports meet of D.A.V Public School and S.V.M College was held on Nov.4 at the Chamundi Vihar Stadium, Mysuru.

The sports meet commenced with the Guard of Honour presented to the Chief Guest M. Yogendra, International Master’s Athlete, Superintendent of Central Tax & Customs, Bengaluru.  The guest hoisted the flag, and released the pigeons declaring the meet open.

The events for the day included 100mt and 200mt sprints , 400m run, 4 x 100mts relay, long jump, high jump, discus throw. Prizes were distributed to the winners.

Sachidananda Murthy, Chairman of school, R. Anand, Secretary S. Jayashree Murthy, the trustee of S.V.M college & C.E.O of D.A.V Public School, Sunil Dayakar, Principal of SVM College, K.R. Shobha., Principal, D.A.V School, M.S. Mangala, Vice Principal and staff members, students and parents were present during the meet.
