Another Leopard carcass found

Mysuru:  The carcass of a male leopard was found on the bank of Kabini backwaters near Beechanahalli in H.D. Kote taluk yesterday.

Villagers, who found the carcass lying on the backwater bank, informed the Forest Department officials, who rushed to the spot.

RFO Madhu said that the leopard may have died over 24 hours ago and the post-mortem will reveal the actual cause of its death.

It may be mentioned here that the carcass of a fully grown tigress was found near the same spot a few days ago.
