Another politician makes a grand video invite for daughter’s wedding

Mandya: Karnataka is all set to witness yet another grand marriage in a political family and it has begun with a grand video invite.

It may be recalled that former Minister Janardhan Reddy daughter’s wedding and especially the video invitation had made news, now the marriage of Bhavya Gowda, daughter of former Congress MLA Shivaramegowda from Nagamangala in Mandya district, who is now in JD(S), too has a video invite.

In the video invite the former MLA’s family is seen inviting guests for the grand wedding as background dancers jive to cheerful invitational song. The three-minute video is shot in a grand set along with frequent costume changes.

The bride Bhavya Gowda, is a model and an actress. She is all set to be wed Rajiv Rathore, a Bengaluru-based actor at Palace Grounds on Dec. 6-7. Bhavya Gowda was also crowned Miss Earth Northampton (Midlands, UK) in 2010.

Shivaramegowda, apart from being a politician also owns Royal Concorde Group of Institutions. He is also the former Chairman for Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA), Karnataka Housing Board (KHB) and Coir Board – Karnataka State, present Chairman for Karnataka Private School Management Joint Action Committee (KAPJAC) . Shivaramegowda’s elder son Chethan Gowda had contested in 2013 polls from Padmanabha Nagar constituency in Bengaluru on a Congress ticket, but lost to R. Ashok.
