Anticipatory bail rejected

Mysore: The anticipatory bail application of the chief of an education institution who is allegedly involved in the KSOU fake marks card racket has been rejected by the Court.

Basavaraj Mane, the head of an educational institution in Belagavi had filed an anticipatory bail application in the Third Additional District and Sessions Court. However, Judge Surendranath rejected the bail application on Monday.

During the interrogation of Yashaswini by the Police regarding the KSOU fake marks card scandal, she had named Basavaraj Mane’s involvement in the racket. Mane from that day had disappeared and filed an anticipatory bail through his lawyer. Meanwhile, Jayalakshmipuram Police are continuing with the investigation into the fake marks card racket.
