Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences to be given additional land, says DC

Madikeri: Kodagu DC Dr. Richard Vincent D’Souza inaugurated new units at diagnostic laboratory of Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences District Hospital in Madikeri. Speaking on the occasion, he said that additional land required for the Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences will be sanctioned by the District Administration.

“All the services are being provided to patients at Government Hospitals. The Government, through Medical Colleges, is providing better facilities to the poor. In the past, the patients from Kodagu district had to travel for Mysuru, Mangaluru and Bengaluru, for better treatment. With the starting of Government Medical College, better health care facilities are available,” he said.

Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences Managing Director  Dr. Mahendra, District Hospital Surgeon Dr. Abdul Aziz and others were present.
