Anupam Agarwal takes charge as KPA Director

Mysore/Mysuru: IPS Officer Anupam Agarwal today took charge as the new  Director of Karnataka Police Academy (KPA) in city.

KPA Deputy Director Divya Sara Thomas, Assistant  Directors Kumar, G.N. Mohan and other Police officers  were present.

Agarwal, a native of Jodhpur in Rajasthan, is a 2008 batch IPS officer and had served as Assistant SP at Davangere, Belagavi DCP, SP of Ramanagara and Vijayapura, Commissioner of the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports etc.,

He was recently promoted as Deputy IGP (DIGP) and now, he is appointed as KPA Director. IGP (Southern Range) Pravin Madhukar Pawar was hitherto  holding additional Charge as KPA Director.
