Apollo bgs Hospital launches vaccination drive for 18-44 age group

Mysore/Mysuru: The second wave of infection has seen younger patients getting affected and vaccinating everyone above the age of 18 will help in stopping the relentless rise in COVID-19 cases and bring a COVID-free future closer to reality. 

Considering the same, the Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysuru, today launched vaccination for individuals between the ages of 18 to 44 years.

Apollo Hospitals is among the first within the Indian Private Hospitals to begin COVID-19 vaccinations in the third phase of the COVID-19 vaccination drive after the Central Government opening up vaccinations to all citizens above the age of 18. 

Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysuru, as part of Apollo Hospitals Group, will administer vaccines as per Government guidelines to eligible individuals who have registered on the CoWIN app and have made an appointment for the vaccine jab at Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysuru. 

The vaccination programme will begin with limited quantities and be ramped up in the weeks ahead. 

Apollo BGS Hospitals will also be organising special camps for corporates. The vaccines would be priced as per the guidelines issued by the Central Government. 

The vaccines will be administered for vaccination registrants by trained and experienced nursing staff of Apollo BGS Hospitals at Veene Seshanna Bhavana (Ganabharathi), Adichu-nchanagiri Road, Kuvempunagar, according to a press release from N.G. Bharateesha Reddy, Vice-President & Unit Head, Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysuru.
