Appeal to introduce ladies and students only buses

August 4, 2023

Sir,

It has been observed that many ladies, especially the elderly ones and students are finding it very difficult to travel in the city buses and reach their destination in time, as the buses are often overcrowded and do not stop at their scheduled stops.

They are often left with no choice but to travel standing on the foot-board of the buses, hanging on for dear life.

Hence, I earnestly appeal to the authorities concerned, through your columns, to kindly introduce ladies only and students only buses for the benefit of ladies and students, to mitigate their hardships.
