Social Welfare Department has invited applications from eligible students from SC community for admission to sixth standard (2022-23) in prestigious schools of the district. The admission will be based on a written test. Applicant must have passed fifth standard and residents of Mysuru district with a minimum of 60 percent marks. Besides, the annual family income should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh. Students who qualify in the written test, will be admitted under Government quota at BVB School in Vijayanagar, Good Shepherd Convent in Lashkar Mohalla and Avila Convent on Krishna Vilas Road in city. Application forms can be obtained from the Social Welfare Department Office located at Dr. Babu Jagjivan Ram building, Adipampa Road, Vontikoppal and the same must be submitted along with all required documents within May 31.
