Applications invited for admissions at Morarji Desai Residential School

The Minority Welfare Department, Mysuru District, has invited applications from eligible students for admission to 6th – 12th standard at the Morarji Desai Residential School, Halagana-halli, for the year 2023-24. As the Residential School has been converted into an Integrated School, admissions are open for first year PCMB (Science) and CEBA (Commerce) streams. Free food, accommodation, books and uniform will be provided for the students.

Admission for 75 percent of students belonging to Minority community including Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist and Parsis will be given while the remaining 25 percent will be reserved for those belonging to SC, ST and other Backward Class communities. Interested may obtain applications from the Department Office or at the Residential School in Bettadapura, Periyapatna taluk before Aug. 10, according to a press release from the Department District Officer.
