Applications invited for extending loans

Mysore: Karnataka Vishwakarma Development Corporation has invited applications from community members and also Vishwakarma sub-sect members for availing loans under various schemes.

Under the Ganga Kalyana Scheme, small and micro farmers, who own a minimum of two acres and a maximum of five acres of land at one place are eligible to seek farm loans. Farmers in the age group of 18 to 55 years can apply.

Loans are also available for self-employment, education, trades and vocations etc. The annual income of applicants must not exceed Rs.40,000 in case of rural applicants and Rs.55,000 in case of applicants from urban areas. For Arivu scheme, the annual income ceiling is Rs.3.5 lakh.

The prescribed application forms can be collected from the office of the Corporation in the city and at the Backward Classes Welfare Department Office at their respective taluk and the same must be returned before July 22.
