Applications invited for Skill Training

Applications have been invited from SSLC, PUC, ITI, Diploma and B.E. passed candidates of SC/ST and other community students for one-year ‘Tool Room Machinist’ course under Chief Minister’s Kaushalya Karnataka Programme, aimed to ensure better employment opportunities and  acquire technical knowledge.

Government Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC) will start the course in its Mysuru centre from July 1 which includes traditional and modern training (both theory and sponsored training) in Turning, Milling and Grinding sections, by experts. Candidates of SC/ST communities who are economically backward will be given free training in GTTC under All India Trade Test (AITT) programme and stipend will be paid (for SC/ST candidates only) during the training period.
