Applications invited for subsidy loan from Corporation

Mysuru: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Development Corporation (2019-20) has invited applications from candidates belonging to backward class communities for availing various benefits extended by the Corporation including Industries Services Business (UdyamaSheelata) Scheme, Micro-Credit Prerana (Self Help Groups) and Ganga Kalyana Yojane.

The applicants must be a resident of Karnataka and belong to backward classes category, aged between 18 to 60 years (must compulsorily attach Aadhaar card), with annual family income not exceeding Rs.1.5 lakh for rural applicants and Rs. 2 lakh for urban applicants. 

The applicants must attach cast certificate obtained from Tahsildar mentioning RD number. None of the family members should be employed in any govt. or govt. aided institutions. 

Candidates who have not received any facilities from the Corporation are eligible to apply and must have badges with driving license to get vehicle facility.

For self employment, under Udyamasheelata Scheme, units started with objective of having small industry/ business of up to Rs.5 lakh, 70 percent subsidy will be given (max Rs.3.5 lakh), for units of Rs.5 lakh to Rs.10 lakh, 60 percent (max Rs.5 lakh), for units of Rs.10 lakh to Rs.20 lakh, 50 percent (max Rs.5 lakh) might be sanctioned. 

Subsidy will be given to the beneficiary provided he/she agrees to condition that remaining cost of investment shall be sanctioned as bank loan from a bank.

Differently abled persons belonging to backward classes category who have already registered in District Disabled Welfare Office are eligible for 5 percent discount of target if they apply under the scheme.

Self Help Women Groups should have representative-1 and representative-2 bank account and attested copies of proceedings of the meetings held should be submitted for Micro-Credit Prerana (Self Help Groups). 

Under this scheme, financial aid of Rs.2.5 lakh will be provided for production units and service units as registered under group activities (must have a minimum of 10-member Self Help Group).

To avail aide for borewell, applicants must be small farmers and very small farmers, must have 1.2 to 5 acre land and unit cost Rs.3.5 lakh.

Two copies of signed application forms must be submitted with two passport size photographs, copies of voters ID/ration card and bank passbook of savings account.

The application forms can be collected from the Office of District Manager or can be downloaded from www.adcl. karnataka.gov.in
