Mysuru: The Department of Kannada and Culture under the Special Unit and Tribal Project for 2019-20 has invited applications from registered associations, organisations, institutions, unorganised artistes working for promotion of Kannada language, literature, music, dance, folk, theatre, yakshagana, painting and sculptures to avail financial assistance for purchase of costumes, musical instruments and other required materials. Painters/Sculptors can also apply for displaying their art works. 

Applications can be had at Department of Kannada and Culture in Kalamandira. Last date to submit filled forms is Nov. 15 by 5.30 pm. For details contact, Ph: 0821 – 2513225, according to a press release from Kannada and Culture Assistant Director.
