Mandya: The Election Commission of India (ECI), which shunted out Ranjit Kumar as General Observer for Melukote, K.R. Nagar, K.R. Pet and Nagamangala Assembly Segments of Mandya Lok Sabha constituency, has appointed Tamil Nadu Cadre IAS Officer P. Annamalai as the New Election Observer.
