The Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports has invited applications from eligible candidates for appointment as Youth Counsellors and Motivators to serve under Yuva Spandana, an integrated behavioural, mental and psychological support services initiative for youths.

The educational qualification for Counsellor post is M.Sc (Psychology) or MSW or any other degree. The educational qualification for Motivators  post is a degree in any subject. The candidates should speak fluent Kannada and must have interest in working with the community.

The candidates must be under 35 years of age and must have good inter-personal counselling and communication skills. The job requires extensive travelling within Mysuru district. Candidates who are service-minded and hailing from Periyapatna, Hunsur, K.R. Nagar and T. Narasipur taluks will be given preference.
