Mysuru: Appointment of teaching and non-teaching staff to Music University will be taken up in different stages, said Minister for Higher Education Dr. M.C. Sudhakar.
Speaking at the 7th, 8th and 9th Convocation of Music University, he said that the State Government was aware of the fact that University had no permanent teaching and non-teaching staff.
Stating that the vacancies would be filled up soon, the Minister said, despite the University functioning in Mysuru from the past 17 years, the staff members are not appointed.
“The Music University is capable of economic consolidation. However, the Chief Minister has reacted positively to consider the matter under special category,” he said.
