Mysuru: City BJP President L. Nagendra has clarified that he has forwarded the complaints received from a section of the party workers, demanding the expulsion of former MP Prathap Simha, to the State party leaders.
Speaking to media persons, Nagendra admitted that party leaders Kumar Gowda and M.K. Premkumar have complained against Simha, which has been duly forwarded to the party higher-ups. The leaders have also complained to State BJP President B.Y. Vijayendra during his visit to the city recently.
“No major issues are bothering the party here but shall speak to Simha, as nobody should exceed the limits. Though he has been attending the party meetings, he is staging protests regarding some of the issues on his own,” said Nagendra.
