Mysuru: Kalabharathi Wing of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB), Mysuru Kendra, has organised the Aradhana Festival of Purandara Dasa, Thyagaraja and Kanakadasa on Mar. 31 at 10 am in the Bhavan’s Priyamvada Birla Institute of Management’s auditorium in Vijayanagar 1st Stage.

Vidushi Dharitri Ananda Rao and her troupe will be rendering the Pancharathna Krithis of Saint Thyagaraja.

Senior flautist in Karnatak Music, Sangeetha Vidya Nidhi Vidwan K.P. Upadhyaya of Mysuru will be honoured for his valuable services to the field of Karnatak music. All music-lovers of Mysuru city may attend the function which will  be presided by Prof. A.V. Narasimha Murthy, Chairman, BVB, Mysuru, according to a press release.
