Architect killed in road accident near Bandipalya

Mysore/Mysuru: A young architect was killed on the spot, when a two-wheeler rammed into her scooter near the Outer Ring Road junction at Bandipalya near here yesterday.

The deceased has been identified as Latha (24), daughter of Lakshmipathi, a retired BSNL employee and a resident of Police Layout third stage. She was working as an architect at a private firm in the city.

Latha, who was on her way to work on her scooter yesterday morning, was crossing the road when a two-wheeler that came from Bandipalya side rammed into her scooter resulting in her sustaining serious injuries and breathing her last on the spot. Though passersby rushed her to a nearby private hospital, the doctors declared her brought dead.

Siddarthanagar Traffic Police rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar, registered a case and shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary.
