Mysuru: District Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Karnataka Vichara Vedika and Kannada Sahitya Kala Koota together had organised a function at Maneyangala in Kalamandira premises here recently for the release of the book ‘Arivina Sourabha’ written by Y.V. Yashodha.

Releasing the book, littérateur Dr. C.P. Krishnakumar (CPK) expressed happiness that more and more women were excelling in the literary field.

He opined that literature had enough strength to build a healthy society.

Writer Dr. Malali Vasantha-kumar presided. Folk Scholar Besuru Mohan Palegara spoke on the book. District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Dr.  Y.D. Rajanna, Kannada Sahitya Kala Koota President M. Chandrashekar and others were present.
