Mysuru: The artistes, who added colour to the ‘Vijayadashami – Jumboo Savari’ procession, were seen resting on the road between Bal Bhavan and KSRTC Depot (the road connecting Nelson Mandela Road to Hanumanthanagar)  in the dark.

By the time procession was completed it was late in the evening and the said road had no functional street lights. Artistes were seen walking around using their mobile phone torchlight amidst the tableaux vehicles.

A few, who were unable to move towards Hanumanthanagar, were seen returning and when asked, they said that the area was completely blocked by the Police.
