Arun Yogiraj Meets Yaduveer Wadiyar

January 27, 2024

After receiving a warm welcome at his home in Mysuru on Thursday, sculptor Arun Yogiraj, accompanied by his wife Vijetha, called on Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, member of erstwhile Mysore royal family, at the Mysore Palace.  Expressing his admiration for the Wadiyars, Arun Yogiraj stated, “Wadiyars were great patrons of art, music, and sculpture who have contributed significantly to make Mysore a cultural centre. The royal kingdom has always supported our sculpture for centuries. Shilpi Siddalingaswamy too was encouraged by the Wadiyars.”
