Arya Vysya women attempt for ‘London Book of Records’

Mysuru: Women belonging to Arya Vysya community came together in Mysuru to join their fellow community members in Bengaluru for their attempt to enter the London Book of Records.

About 170 members from Mysuru, Nanjangud, Chamarajanagar, Hassan, T. Narasipur, Holenarasipur and other cities assembled at Kannika Mahal on Ashoka Road yesterday and rendered the 1 min 20 sec. long ‘Vasavi Vandanamulu Vasavi’, the Universal Vasavi Mata Song. The women, dressed in Yellow sarees, took part in the record attempt. 

Vishwa Arya Vyshya Mahasabha Vice-President Rashmi Srinath, Directors Gaurav Sudha Murali, Shilpa Sandeep, Swayamprabha, Lakshmi Dinesh, Rashmi Raghavendra and others were present. Similar programme was held at Ravindra Kalakshetra in Bengaluru.
