ASHA worker dies hours after her uncle passes away

Hunsur: In a tragic incident, an ASHA worker died at a Mysuru hospital on Tuesday evening  just hours after her uncle passed away.

Nagamma (38) is the deceased ASHA worker.

Nagamma, a resident of Kachuvinahalli, who was serving as an ASHA worker at Neralakuppe Primary Health Centre (PHC), was admitted to a private hospital in Mysuru following low Blood Pressure (BP). But she breathed her last in the hospital on Tuesday evening.

Incidentally, her uncle K.N. Suresh, a Postal Supervisor, had died of heart attack  on Tuesday morning and his last rites were performed at his native village later in the evening.

Nagamma too died just a few hours after her uncle Suresh passed away.

Nagamma leaves behind her husband, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at her farmland on Wednesday.
