Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. Paniveni Udayshankar, a Ph.D degree holder in Solar Physics and a resident of Roopanagar, Mysuru, has earned the distinction of  her biographical profile with photograph being included in the ‘Asian Admirable Achievers (Vol. XI)’ by Rifacimento International, New Delhi, recently.

Well-accomplished in Physics and Music, she has 34 years of teaching experience as Physics faculty at the College level in Mysuru and Bengaluru and 16 years of Research experience.

A Vidwat in Karnatak classical vocal music, she has to her credit 50 music concerts at various platforms.

Besides, she has presented her research work in 18 international conferences abroad.

Presently, she is an Honorary Professor at Poornapragna Institute of Scientific Research, Bengaluru and is guiding students for Ph.D. She is also a mentor for Supernova Foundation that encourages young women to take up career in Physics.

Last month, she presented her Astrophysics Research related work online during an international conference in Greece.
