Mysuru: Vijayanagar Football Academy celebrated Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Grassroots Day, a global initiative to promote grassroots football development,  at its premises, here recently.

 The event was marked by a gathering of over 100 children and adults. The event aimed to promote the development of grassroots football in the region, with a focus on providing opportunities for young players to develop their skills and passion for the sport. The Academy organised a series of activities, including coaching sessions, games and interactions with experienced coaches. AFC Grassroots Day is an annual event that brings together football communities around the world to celebrate the sport and promote its development at grassroots level.
